The content of this summary is not intended to excuse or incriminate anyone.
Laci Peterson was pregnant when she disappeared Christmas Eve 2002.
Her husband Scott Peterson, became the suspect, and is now on trial for murder.
This is a circumstantial case, the state is asking for the death penalty.
If the accused is found guilty, beyond reasonable doubt, He will be put to death.
My opinion is, the infidelity and neglect of Laci is appalling and inexcusable.
However that behavior does not constitute murder, or the death penalty.
Let us look at the character of the accused.
And the evidence presented at this time.
There are always two sides to a story.
CRIME

MARRIAGE;
Scott and Laci Peterson;
The only true understanding of a marriage remains with the persons involved.
They appeared to have a happy marriage. Was it a marriage of convenience?
Marital arrangements are not uncommon. Many couples have separate interests,
and are not concerned with what each other does with their personal time.
The priority is the home environment, financial security, and the public image.
Apparently Scott & Laci had their priorities. Which they kept very private.
Laci appears to have been financially well cared for during their marriage.
They moved from San Luis Obispo to Modesto, reportedly to "start a family."
Laci was described as (a spitfire). and was very happy about her pregnancy.
Laci had recently taken her wedding ring to a jeweler, and made arrangements
to add a diamond and other jewels she had inherited from her grandmother.
Laci clearly valued her wedding ring and therefore the same for her marriage.
Many of their friends and family described Scott as very attentive to Laci.
Scott worked many hours remodeling their home, and the nursery.
They were described as a loving couple, and had many parties in their home.
Everyone who testified in court said there was never any violence.
Laci was beautiful, intelligent, with confidence. She had no reason to be jealous.
There are married couples with love and respect for each other, who are not sensual.
Particularly when there may be physical, or medical problems with one or both individuals.
Many people do not believe in divorce. We do not know Scott or Laci`s belief.
No one really knows the marital understanding between Scott and Laci Peterson.
The speculative opinions of other people do not constitute facts.
What we do know is Laci disappeared. Months later the remains of Laci and the baby were found.

FINANCE;
Scott did not have financial problems, this fact has been testified too in court.
Apparently Scott and Laci lived a financially comfortable lifestyle.
Scott was employed by Tradecorp. A fertilizer company.
Laci had worked as a substitute teacher, until late pregnancy.

After expenses Scott & Laci had $ 2300.00 a month disposable income.
The parents of Scott "Lee & Jackie Peterson" were financially helpful to them.
They gave $30,000 to Laci & Scott for the down payment on their Modesto home.
The parents also paid the golf club membership for Scott. They were very generous.

The Purchase price of the Covena house was $177,000 with $40,000 down.
The home was refinanced 16 months later in February 2002.
They borrowed money to build a swimming pool.

Scott & Laci obtained life insurance policies at the same time they bought the house.
They both had $250,000 policies on each other as "investments'. KTVU News
A prosecution witness, the man who sold the life insurance policies to Scott & Laci,
acknowledged suggesting the purchase, and said Laci pushed for a higher amount.

The mother of Laci`s biological father, died and left an inheritance, that included jewelry.
The jewelry was to be divided between the daughters of Dennis Rocha, Laci and Amy.
Laci had recently obtained part of that inheritance (Jewelry) from her grandmother.
This inheritance would give Laci a certain amount of financial independence.
Scott and Laci were not wealthy, they simply managed their income. Link
The biological parents of Laci are Dennis and Sharon Rocha. They had two children,
Laci and her brother Brent Rocha. The Rocha`s have been Divorced 25 years.
Sharon Rocha has lived with her partner Ron Grantski for 25 years.
Dennis Rocha remarried and has another daughter Amy. Laci`s half sister.
Upon Laci`s disappearance, Sharon Rocha (mother) obtained the ring from the Jeweler.
The vehicle belonging to Laci was given to Sharon, by the dealership where it was traded.
Sharon also broke into Laci and Scott`s home. With the help of family and friends,
Sharon took what she said was the personal belongings of Laci, including baby furniture.
The Peterson family objected, at that time Scott Peterson had not been convicted of a crime.
However law enforcement did not take action against Sharon for breaking into the house.
Dennis Rocha (father) and Amy Rocha (half sister) did not pursue the jewelry or property.
Brent Rocha (brother), is the executor of their grandmother`s will.

VEHICLES
Many have found guilt in the fact that Scott sold Laci`s vehicle.
Laci had complained about her vehicle, while she and Scott were on a trip with
Lee & Jackie. Laci refered to the suv as a piece of sh-- and told Jackie she was worried
about the brakes and other problems. Laci said she wanted another vehicle before
the baby was born, she did not feel it was safe Story Link.
Lee and Jackie had helped financially with the down payment on the house and
the golf club fees. Maybe Laci felt Jackie would help financially with a new car?
Scott knew Laci did not want the vehicle. He had planned to get a new one for her when
Connor was born. Scott also needed a truck for work, his truck had been impounded.
There was a traumatic situation going on, Some people do become desperate at times like this.
Scott traded the vehicle in on a truck. Link The dealer gave the vehicle to Sharon Rocha.
Many have found guilt in the fact that Scott bought a boat.
A witness saw Laci at the warehouse. She used their bathroom.
The hair from Laci could have transferred from the sleeping bag, found
in the warehouse. There is a photo of the bag laying in the boat.
Detective Brochini omitted this information from his files and testimony.
There have been numerous reports as to why the boat was bought.
#1 For Laci. #2 For Ron Granski. # 3 For Scott. Possibly for all three.
When Scott was on the phone with his father, Christmas Eve day.
He did not tell his dad about the boat. There is the possibility that Laci had Scott
buy the boat, to share fishing trips with Ron Granski. Scott did this for Laci.
Was Laci trying to bring her family together, in harmony with Scott?
There were financial reasons as to why, Scott did not tell his dad about the boat.
Lee and Jackie had helped them so much financially. Scott did not want to explain.
Laci wanted a new vehicle when the baby was born. Scott may need dads help again.
The boat was used. He may have wanted to test the boat out for speed and durability.
Scott may have met with someone on another boat (Pontoon? Houseboat?) at the marina.
When Scott returned home and he finally realized Laci was not visiting a neighbor.
Or outside somewhere. He became confused, fearful and just wanted Laci found.

House
Many have found guilt in the fact that Scott contacted a Realtor about selling the house.
Laci complained about the transients in the neighborhood. She had been active in regard to
the neighborhood problems. It was reported, Laci and Scott had planned to sell the house
and move before Conner started school. Detective Grogan said Laci Peterson wanted
a new house and would not be upset about the sale of the their current place. Story Link
Many people become disappointed with a neighborhood, after buying a house.
Some will use a house as an investment. They make improvements and sell for profit.
Apparently Laci and Scott were not satisfied with their home or the school.
In regard to everything that had and was happening in that Neighborhood,
and at that house. The place was not safe. I certainly would not want to be there,
or have my family there either. Scott first spoke with Laci`s (best friends mother)
in regard to Selling the house Link. He said he did not want Laci to have to come
back to that house. He was not trying to hide anything from family and friends.
He felt they would understand. Scott and Laci had already decided to sell the house.
Laci told friends and family that Scott handled the finances in the family.
Scott, with family backing was the primary source of their income.
Unfortunately substitute teachers are not paid very well.
The trauma & danger was obvious. Why go back to that house?
Scott was attempting to do what he thought was best, and what Laci wanted.
Laci had left Scott once before. Did Scott think she had left him again?
Det Grogan used what Laci wanted, new house and car, as part of Scott`s motive. Link

 

CHILDREN
Many have found guilt because Scott told other women he did not want children.
Laci was Scott`s wife! He knew she always wanted a child.
Laci was a teacher, and Scott knew she would be a good mother to their child.
They moved from San Luis Obispo to Modesto, reportedly to "start a family."
Scott and Laci were expecting their first child, a son they named Connor.
Scott worked many hours remodeling their home, and the nursery.
A woman begins to bond with her baby during pregnancy, and after birth.
However many men are apprehensive about the birth of their first child,
and will require time for bonding after the baby is born.
NO ILLEGITIMATE CHILD
Scott told both women Janet and Amber, when he was having a fling with them.
That he did not want children. That statement is completely understandable.
He was letting these women know, (Do not get pregnant). This was a red flag.
Married men do not want a woman they are having a fling with to get pregnant.
So the man will usually go into great detail as to why he does not want children.
When a man has a fling with a woman who has a child, He must be attentive toward
the child, to impress the woman if he wants her attention and sexual favors.
Scott was not neglectful of Amber`s child, he was actually helpful. (Impress)
The second date with Amber included her child on a hike. Scott spent the night.
Amber (irresponsibly) gave Scott a key to her apartment and ask Scott to pick her
daughter up from daycare. Scott picked the child up, took her to Amber`s apartment.
While waiting for Amber, he prepared food and fed the child. Scott spent the night.
This action shows a man who has concern and patience with a child. (Good Impression)
However Scott told Amber he was considering a vasectomy. (Do not get pregnant.)

 

MEDICAL
Laci and Scott
Scott and Laci thought they might not have children because Laci had only one ovary.
Laci's sister-in-law, Rose Marie testified. Laci had a single ovary. Scott was supportive
when she was trying to conceive and accompanied her on all her visits to the doctor.
Laci Peterson_ expressed a lack of interest in sex. Story Link
Laci had always wanted children. Did she have the in-vitro fertilization procedure? Link
Did Scott feel inferior, like Connor was not really his, because Laci used this procedure?
The fetus was healthy during a routine doctor’s visit the afternoon of Dec. 23, 02 Link
Though Laci`s medical bills were "well past due" in late 2002, Scott paid them Dec. 23 --
hours before authorities believe he murdered his wife. Link Where did the $$ come from?
Ex-girlfriend (Janet Ilse) said Peterson was very self-conscious about the size of his
penis, and whether he could please a woman. Scott bought Viagra with 11 refills. 1/13/03
Scott has sexual problems, and always feels the need to prove himself. Sex Addict
There was clearly medical reproductive and / or sex problems in the marriage.

 

PHONE CALLS
Many tape recorded phone calls were played in court
Scott had several cell phones. Many business owners supply phones to employees.
According to cell tower tracking of the wire taped phone recordings,
(After Laci disappeared.) Scott lied about his locations to his family and friends.
During high traffic, cell phone calls will roll over to the next available tower.
This will give weak or broken reception. And the tracking is not reliable.
Scott claims he was trying to avoid the news media. This is possible.
There may be another "business, sexual fling," somewhere, unknown to anyone.
A detective did suspect Amber, there may be an accomplice. Or hired hit.
Jacobson testified that he and six other law-enforcement officials, including the
lead detective on the case, grew suspicious of Frey on Jan. 13, 2003,
after comparing her information with data from Peterson's wiretaps. Link
Scott knew the calls were being tape recorded. Was Scott trying to get Amber
to slip up and say something incriminating? Solicitation to commit murder. Link

INFIDELITY
These analytical statements are not intended to excuse the act of infidelity.
Laci was described as (A Spitfire). She was also pregnant and tired.
I am sure she would let Scott know when she did not want to be bothered.
Renee Tomlinson said her high school pal told her that sex was
"not a priority anymore" because of her pregnancy. Story Link
When men feel they have lost the passion, love and attention from their wife,
Due to the lack of sexual interest. Many men become lustful and have a temporary
entertaining fling. They will tell the interested party what she wants to hear.
Shortly after their marriage, Scott and Laci lived apart due to college.
Scott was not living with Laci, when he had a fling with Janet Ilse. Laci forgave him.
Court testimony and tape recordings have proven Scott had an adulterous fling
with Amber Frey, before Laci disappeared. The DA did know about Amber
before she came forward. They showed the Rochas her picture with Scott.
Scott has been exposed as a liar, philanderer, and has been very secretive about
his activities and locations. Scott has claimed he was trying to avoid the news media.
AMBER FREY
A TWO WAY SETUP?
Shawn Sibley met Scott at a business function. The fact that Scott called himself
a "horny bastard". And is supposed to have been so rude, vulgar and overbearing.
Did not deter Shawn from making arrangements for Scott and Amber to meet.
Why would Shawn want to help this man, who she just met, find a girlfriend? Link
Shawn was suppose to be Amber`s best friend. She would know Amber well.
Why set your friend up with a vulgar, rich man? What would they have in common?
Shawn testified in court, that Scott told her his favorite sexual positions. Was it sex?
Apparently Amber wanted to meet a young, sexy, rich, business man, or a young, sexy,
single man from a prominent wealthy family. A meeting like this would offer
the opportunity for parties, sex and wealth. A "sugar daddy" or potential marriage.
However according to the description Shawn gave about Scott in her court testimony.
Scott certainly did not present himself as a potential opportunity for a stable husband.
What would be the impression? Party Hardy? Sugar daddy? Mistress? Fling? Blackmail?
Amber Frey, 29, posed nude a few years ago, had a second baby out of wedlock
and reportedly dated and lived with a married man before her romance with Peterson.
Hustler Magazine, bought nude photos of Amber Frey. In an interview,
Amber Frey`s father said. "She's tough as nails," Link The same Amber Frey once
lived with a boyfriend who worked as a stripper. She likes ethnic restaurants and has no
problem popping into a Fresno nightclub, that is popular among gays. Bars & Clubs
Amber lied, says Modesto's Patricia Hinojos, her daughter's grandmother." Now I'm
going to say what I know is truth, to refute what she's saying on those tapes." Modesto Bee
It does not matter how this story is sugar coated. It was not sweet innocent dating.
Relationship > A romantic or sexual involvement.
Fling > A brief sexual or romantic encounter
a brief period of indulging one`s impulses

JUST A FLING
After Scott & Amber had their first encounter. Shawn called Scott and
accused him of lying, she ask about his wife. Scott was shocked and caught in a lie.
Shawn was aggressive. He had to think quick. What would these women do next?
Scott knew Laci was a spitfire. He did not want these women contacting his wife.
Scott said (I lost my wife). Many men tell the interested party, what they want to hear.
This behavior is not uncommon with sixty percent of husbands cheating.
(The man feels he has lost the wife he had, the physical loving part of his wife.)
This statement encourages sympathy. Then the man says he can not talk about it.
This also encourages sympathy, and does not give personal information.
Scott is supposed to have said (This is the first Christmas without her. (Wife))
This statement also encourages sympathy during a holiday.
(Scott & Laci were not having their usual Christmas party with friends.
They had decided to change plans this year. Their family life was changing.)
The statement (I lost my wife) is used more often than most people want to believe.
The man is looking for attention and sex. Sympathy often attains sensual consoling.
The man knows he is having a temporary fling, There is no commitment to this
other person. He is not concerned about what they will think of him in the future.
It is just a good time, there is no future, so he will never have to explain the lies.
Many people who travel for work or business, sales reps, truck drivers, etc.,
will tell elaborate entertaining stories (lies) about their travels. This is not new.
The (other) is told about a trip. When they are really home with their spouse.
Love them and leave them. Here today gone tomorrow.
Amber and Scott only had four dates. Then Scott said he would be gone on trips.
Scott planed to be home with his pregnant wife and family for the holidays.

MARRIED & LIED
Scott did not say there was a tragic loss, his wife had passed away, or died.
Scott stated to Amber, on tape recordings, (There are different kinds of loss Amber.)
Also, "I love Laci." However Scott never told Amber that he loved her.
and he didn't try to talk her out of revealing their romance to police, Link
Due to sexual problems, Scott may not have had passionate desire for Laci.
However, Men really LOVE who and what they RESPECT. This fact is as old as time.
Scott respected Laci. He said, on tape "She doesn`t deserve this__to be missing."
In taped conversations. Scott refused to make a comment in regard to Connor.
Scott knew the calls were being tape recorded.

Scott was not living with Laci when he had the fling with Janet Ilse Laci forgave him.
Laci was pregnant, tired, and possibly irritable, and did not want to be bothered.
Scott started the fling with Amber Frey, at Shawn Sibley`s coaching through e-mail.
Did Laci find out about the fling through the computer, phone calls, mail, pictures?
Some women believe a good marriage does not just happen. You must work at it.
Laci was not a fool. She had security, and a new baby on the way.
Scott said "It was nothing that would break us apart, We were working through it".
They were married long enough for Laci to know her husband very well.
Did Scott confess to Laci? Did Laci forgive him?


SEXUALITY;
Detective Grogan admitted that a close friend Renee Tomlinson said her
high school pal (Laci Peterson)_ expressed a lack of interest in sex. Story Link
Scott has sexual problems, and always feels the need to prove himself. Sex Addict
Ex-girlfriend (Janet Ilse) said Peterson was very self-conscious about the
size of his penis, and whether he could please a woman.

The Dish Network employee, Donald Toy, testified that Peterson added the
Playboy channel and two "very explicit" pornography stations to his
programming lineup about two weeks after his wife vanished.
Apparently Scott viewed pornography before Laci disappeared.
Investigators discovered pornography on the confiscated computers hard drive.
Many couples view pornography. Many wives ignore their husbands use of the
computer for pornography, and vice versa. It is legally sold, and is not a crime.
Gay, Swinger, Suspicious.
In taped conversations between Scott Peterson and Amber Frey At some point
in a conversation, Amber Frey asked Scott Peterson,"Do you like guys?"
Scott replied "No, but if another guy likes me, it would be a compliment."
There have been accusations of Scott having a sexual encounter with a transvestite.
Portuguese-born Victor Cordeiro, says his name also belongs on the list of Scott's lovers.
"I was outside the bar before going inside to perform my drag queen act." Story Link
Apparently Victor was jealous, and wanted people to know, he knew Scott also. Why?
Was there a different lover who may have been insanely jealous about Laci having a baby?
The other lover could have hired a hit, committed the crime, or possibly been an accomplice?

REMAINS
The remains of Laci and Connor were found on the beach, near the area
Scott had gone on the day Laci disappeared. Scott produced a launch receipt.
The bay is not deep enough to permanently hide a body. The bay is known for
bodies washing up. Everyone who lives in the area knows, bodies wash up there.
And who would be the first suspect? The husband who was there!
If Scott had done this crime. He could have put the body in a more isolated lake,
or anywhere else. He could have put it someplace to blame the transients.
Then gone to the marina for his alibi. The bay was the obvious place to look!
Who would hide something from you? And then tell you where they were.
Think about it! That is beyond stupid! Know one commits the perfect crime.
Then tells you where to look for the evidence. There were many other leads.
The detectives investigating this case needed to use unbiased common sense.
There have been to many discrepancies with this investigation.
Confession

DISORDER
Scott has traits of being bipolar. Many people have undetected chemical imbalances.
Bipolar (Sex addiction, Elaborate impulsive spending. Hesitant speech (nervous ah) and
blank stare (ah) due to confusion.) They will also withdraw and hide in times of tragedy.
Scott needed Laci, He felt she was the only person who loved and understood him.
Laci was a teacher, homemaker, loving, (spitfire) defender, mothering type of person.
Laci was the decision maker in the family. Without her Scott was in a state of confusion.
Scott could be rebellious at times, However Laci knew how to handle him in those situations.
Driving long distances, and talking on the phone with Amber, may just be the manic phases.
Depression, coupled with guilt and shame about cheating on Laci with Amber or others.
May explain some of the bizarre things Scott has said and done since Laci disappeared.
Trauma or a tragedy, will cause people who are bipolar, to become confused, helpless, and
fearful. They will detach from a person or situation. This is their way to escape something they
have no control over. To them it is the only thing they can do. Try to survive the ordeal.
They do not have many friends. Most people do not understand them.
They hide their pain and loneliness. Entertain themselves. And have a high rate of suicide.
The character of Scott Peterson appears, confused, weak, vulnerable and insecure.
Due to these traits he will continually lie and is untrustworthy. (Like a confused child).
Scott does not have a history of violence. Laci was described as a spitfire.
Everyone who testified in court said there was never any violence.
Unemotional reaction due to confusion, fear and helplessness is not consciousness of guilt.

SECRETS
Everyone, single or married has secrets in their life.
Laci Profile
Laci was very private about her marriage and personal life.
Laci did not tell her mother about the fling Scott had with Janet.
She was mothering and very protective of Scott. She understood him.
Sharon said Laci called Dec 23 to finally commit to coming over to their
house for Christmas eve. She had asked her at least 10x previously.
When Laci disappeared, Sharon ask Scott "Did Laci have other plans"?
A parent has to ask their sibling 10x, to come to their home on a holiday?
Apparently Laci did not confide in her mother. Was there a family problem?
Laci Peterson had singled out her stepfather, Ron Grantski, as a reason for
secrecy, according to Detective Grogan's account. "Laci didn't like Ron Grantski.
Laci was very adamant about it," Story Link
When there is conflict between mother & daughter. Grandma can fill the void.
Laci was close to her grandmother. They are not here to speak for themself.

The entire life of Scott Peterson will become an open book.
Scott did not try to hide the fling with Janet. Laci forgave him.
Court testimony and tape recordings have proven Scott had a fling
(four 4 dates) with Amber Frey, before Laci disappeared. Story link
Scott Peterson never told Amber Frey he loved her, and he didn't try to talk her

Does Scott blatantly pursue women to hide his other true desires and passion?
Scott views hard-core pornography, reportedly male gay sex, bestiality, and rape.
Remember the Story about Victor Cordeiro. He passed a polygraph test.
It has been proven Scott lived a double life, parties, flings, Bars & Clubs, etc.
Scott has sexual secrets. Gay sexual encounters may have been a discrepancy
Laci would not have forgiven. What could have been done without Scott`s knowledge?
Did Scott have another gay lover who felt abused or rejected, and wanted revenge?
Is this the reason Laci was murdered, and later found where Scott had been?

Rental cars were used.
Have you ever been followed by the media? Do you know how it feels?
Particularly when you are already trying to cope with a ongoing trauma.
Scott knew he was no angel. He was going to be put on public trial for his infidelity.
He new every aspect of his life would be scrutinized, judged, and made public.
This is why he said it did not matter what people thought of him.
Scott needed Laci back. He ask. Please just focus on finding Laci.
